eHealth Announces Appointment of Scott N. Flanders as New Independent Director

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/07/08 -- eHealth, Inc. (NASDAQ: EHTH) announcedtoday that Scott N. Flanders has been appointed as an independent directorto eHealth's Board of Directors. Flanders also will serve on theCompensation Committee of the Board.

Mr. Flanders brings his extensive track record in business leadership andcorporate marketing to eHealth's Board of Directors. He currently servesas the President, Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board ofDirectors of Freedom Communications, Inc., one of the largest mediacompanies in the United States, with sales of $1 billion in newspapers,interactive media, and television stations. Previously, Mr. Flanders wasthe Chairman and CEO of Columbia House Company, the world's oldest andlargest direct marketer of music and video products, with revenues of over$1 billion. In 1998, Mr. Flanders co-founded Telstreet.com, an e-commercecompany specializing in helping consumers shop for wireless products andservices. He remained Chairman of Telstreet until the company merged withBuy.com in August of 2000.
